Cyberways and Waterways® is an online learning environment built from the ground up with invaluable input from teachers and students. The web site integrates technology and education through an environmentally based interdisciplinary curriculum centered on watersheds, streams, rivers, coastlines, and coral reefs. 4empowerment conceived Cyberways and Waterways® to connect students with their local eco-systems - through hands on activities such as water testing and biodiversity monitoring - while connecting individuals for knowledge sharing and discussion through Internet collaboration. Cyberways and Waterways® has been part of the classroom activities in more than 22 school districts, and used by 152 teachers and over 50,000 students. Our goal is to engage students, teachers, and communities around the world.
