The real work begins after you finish testing. Chances are no one else is testing at your site. This makes you THE water expert for your site. You possess real and valuable data that you can use to make a case to support cleaner water along your watershed. Included in this section is a list of tips and links to help you use your water testing findings to make a difference in your community.
Things You Can Do To Make Your River Clean and Your Community Green
1. Register to vote:

2. Write a letter to your local congressperson or the president or vice president.
3. Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper.
4. Become a local activist. If you pinpoint a problem, how can it be solved? Organize a group to take action! Use the 4empowerment network to get other students involved.
