Building a Kick Seine-Net

Supplies:
  • Nylon mesh net, .60 mm
  • Two pieces of wood (2"x2"x4')
  • Duct tape
  • Hammer
  • Staple gun with 3/8" staples
  • Two 16 penny nails
Directions:

Cut a piece of nylon net 3 feet by 3 feet. Bind all four edges with duct tape. For the poles, cut two four foot long 2"X2". Drive a 16 penny casing nail into the end of each pole, leaving one inch of the nail and nail head sticking out. This will help hold the net to the bottom of the creek. Fasten the netting to the poles with 3/8" staples through the duct tape.
